Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026. This policy explains how Platinum Essence Sdn Bhd ("we") handles personal data collected through platinum.my, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). We are the data controller.

1. What we collect

We collect personal data only when you book a call through our Cal.com calendar or email us. This may include your name, email address, phone number (if requested), preferred meeting time, and your answer to a short question about what you want to advertise.

We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and page views. It is cookieless and does not identify you. Your language choice (EN/BM) is saved in your own browser's local storage and is not sent to us.

2. Embedded booking calendar

The Cal.com calendar on our homepage loads when you open the page, so Cal.com may process technical data such as your IP address, and may set cookies under its own privacy policy, even before you make a booking.

3. Why we collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry, schedule and hold a consultation call, and follow up about a possible advertising placement. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

4. Who we share it with

  • Cal.com: processes your booking details.
  • Google Calendar: syncs booking times through Cal.com.
  • Vercel: hosts this website and provides analytics.
  • Zoho: our business email provider.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with others for their own marketing.

5. Transfers outside Malaysia

These providers may process data on servers outside Malaysia. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to keep your data protected.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including HTTPS across this site.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or booking and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing admin@platinum.my. We will respond within the time required by the PDPA.
